Magda Garcia Masana  |  Founder & President
Magda founded LocTeam in 1990. She has led the company to its position as industry leader for Mac and iOS app and software localization. She also launched the company’s desktop publishing business and remains highly focused on corporate marketing and strategic market development.

Josefina Castells  |  CEO
Josefina is an accomplished localization manager with more than four decades of experience. She joined LocTeam in 2001 as project management director and was appointed CEO in 2003. Before joining LocTeam, she worked at Apple Computer, where she was the localization manager for France, Germany, Italy, Portugal and Spain. She led the European development for the OS X localization.

Amparo Cantó  |  Operations Director
Amparo joined LocTeam in 2005 as a Project Manager. She holds a bachelor’s degree in translation and interpreting. In 2008, she was appointed Localization Manager and has overseen all types of localization projects, including operating systems and voice recognition software. Since 2018, she has led the Operations Department, building and managing large multilingual teams in different areas of the company, from AI to publishing.

Javier González  |  Technical Director
Javier joined LocTeam in 1990 as a Senior Engineer, and he was appointed IT Manager in 2003. In 2017 he became Technical Director, overseeing all the technical aspects of the company, including internal infrastructures and data and network security. He’s responsible for process optimization and the development of new tools for both new and existing projects.

Raquel Salagre  |  Managing Editor
Raquel joined LocTeam in 2002 as an editor for our Publishing Department. In that position, she managed more than 250 book titles, including multilingual productions published simultaneously and limited editions. She was appointed managing editor in 2012. She holds a bachelor's degree in translation and interpreting, and a postgraduate diploma in screen translation.

Laura Orfila  |  Finance Administrator
Laura joined LocTeam in 2004 as finance administrator. Previously, she was an accountant manager at BuscPerson System from 1999 through 2004. Laura is responsible for tracking the financial aspect of every project at every stage. She provides customers with budget status and actuals reporting, working in general transaction processing areas such as accounts payable and accounts receivable. Laura holds a degree in business administration.
